Dear experts,

 

Some days ago, I turned on the computer and there was no wifi connection. Since then, I've tried hundreds of different solutions: installing all actualizations, reinstalling drivers, running HP support and HP hardware diagnostic...

When I go to device manager, I see no wifi driver (see screenshot atrached) I have tried to download and install from HP software, but when restarting the computer, nothing appears. WhatsApp Image 2022-10-24 at 01.28.57.jpeg

I need urgent help because I need my laptop to work. Thanks in advance to all.

Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... I would like to help you.

 

Possible errors are:

- Card defective
- Card has come loose
- Card socket defective

 

(1) Following the specification, your notebook has:

Wireless connectivity
Intel® 802.11b/g/n/ac (2x2) Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth® 4.2 Combo (Miracast compatible)

 

One of these cards may be installed, depending on what was ordered or delivered. I cannot say exactly now:

(2) Check BIOS settings if wireless device is enabled 

 

(3) Disassemble notebook and check wirless card !
