Hi,
From the Start Menu, open All Programs, open Accessories, right click the Command Prompt and select 'Run as Administrator'. Into the prompt, type the following commands, hitting enter after each command. Include spaces in the commands where shown.
ipconfig /flushdns
nbtstat -R
nbtstat -RR
netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt
netsh winsock reset
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
When complete, type exit and hit enter, then restart the notebook and check if you can now connect to Youtube.
Regards,
DP-K

Topic is old but lastly I had same issue. Laptop was fine. Problem was with router, it did't acquire DNS adress automaticly from my internet provider(still don't know why...) and because of that some sites was not loading- in my case that was youtube.com and google.com (almost everything from google, specially google.maps)
I get on my router with adres http://192.168.0.1/ ( normaly login and pw is: admin)
then to WAN > next DNS > here i set:
Domain Name Server Adress: 8.8.8.8 - its public Google DNS
Secondary DNS Adress I got from my provider: 172.16.113.254
when I hit Apply everything works fine.
I hope it will help someone.
how it looks on my router:

Thanks god finally i found a related thread about YouTube error. Mine is about YouTube link not opening. When I tried opening the YouTube video in my VLC player, it showed " VLC is unable to open the MRL" . The YouTube video was uploaded by me from my PS4 recordings. In this article, as you can see "http://www.videoconverterfactory.com/tips/vlc-unable-mrl.html", it says that I must change the video codec and formats to solve this problem. But i do not want to do it because i do not want to lose any output quality. My video is 720p and 30fps which is good. So, I want to ask is video conversion the only way to solve the problem? Are there any better solutions?
