Hehe, that is exactly the program I wanted to replace it with, but actually it now seems that a restart might have helped me, I completely forgot that restarting sometimes is necessary to completely delete programs 🙂 As of right now I only see the 3RVX indicator, so it seems that it has been disabled now 🙂 Thanks for your help 🙂

Hey, do you think you could help me out? I have the same pc as you (HP G62 notebook Pc with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit) and i feel like ive done the same steps as you to change my volume indicator but im still stuck with the ugly blue default one. Even if i run the 3RVX indicator you can see both of them.
Ive tried uninstalling a couple things and nothing seems to remove the blue one.

It looks like you're using a Realtek sound card. I found a solution:
