restart your netbook
you should get one more user account "Administrator" (we have activated it few minuts back :D)
else tap F8 on startup .. select safe mode.. you should be able to login...

When I turn on the mini pc it always goes to HP Quick Web
I then click on icon to the left to go open Windows 7.
Usually I get to login for my daughters user ID. If I type her password - I get this message that it can't load profile.
Somehow I got this message that windows was not shut down properly and asks if I want to start normally or in safe mode. I then chose safe mode - then it is possible to log in with her password and I see her desktop (or what it is called in English..) with all the icons. From here I chose recovery and that is how I could start typing those commands.
So I can not actually load her profile in normal mode just safe mode.
Do not have any important data I think - she mostly use it for facebook and msn. I have installed Norton 360 but I think I have a link to reinstall it on my e-mail as I had som problems and got some help from their support. I think I can actually use a usb-flash memory now to do backup on her documents and pictures.
Strange though I think that I can login in safe mode but not in ordinary mode. It will not work for her to do it this way - too complicated....
Any suggestions?
How do I return from Administator: C:\windows\System32\cmd.exe to where I started? Do I just close window or do I need to type a command?
Thanks again - really appeciate you giving time and effort to help me solve this

okk giving a final touch to resolv ethis issue completely...
just cross the window or type "exit" and press enter..
1st approch:
Do a System Restore:
Click on All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and System Restore
Click on the System Restore button.
Click on the Next button.
Select (click on) a listed restore point that you want to restore Windows 7 back to.
Click on the Next button.
Click on the Finish button.
Click on Yes to confirm.
This should resolve the issue, if not... as you are saving the pictures and data... when you are done with that... perform the following steps:
2nd Approch:
- Restart the PC, and then press the f11 key when the standard BIOS prompts are displayed on the black screen.
NOTE: Pressing the f11 key during startup on a computer with an HP factory image will start the system recovery process even if the prompt is not displayed.
alternatively, click start type "recovery" select recovery manager.
- When the Recovery Manager starts, select the System recovery option and click Next
- If prompted to use the Microsoft System Restore program, click No, and then click Next.
- When prompted, if you want to backup your personal files and settings, select the Back up your files first (recommended) option, and then click Next. Follow the on-screen instructions.
- When prompted to Recover without backing up your files, please STOP before clicking Next.
- If you are satisfied that you want to begin the recover process, click Next. The PC immediately begins formatting the hard drive and destroying all data.
The recovery process may take up to several hours and will return the PC to its original condition. Any custom settings, drivers, software programs and updates, and/or hardware updates are lost and must be reinstalled.

to HP support Forum
Regarding this subject..I have a HP pavillion DV5000, accidentally I went to control panel and I deleted the user name as well as the password, then I restarted windows. I can't log in anymore to Windows. I tried with ESC, F8, F10 AND F12 to manually fix the issue but it was unsucessful. There is no way to enter command prompts, etc..Do I need to buy a recovery disc? or it's possible to fix it oneself.. Thanks for the answer
