When I try to turn on the laptop it says "enter administrator password or power on password" then when I try the only passwords I know for my laptop it says "system disabled 86381856". I don't know what to do or how to fix it and I saw that on a few other threads you were able to help people with the right thing to type in and was hoping you could help me as well cause I'm going crazy trying to solve the issue!! Thank you so much!!!

It went to "checking media - fail" "checking media" then "boot authentication could not be completed" or something like that and it says press enter and when you hit enter it shuts down. I have no idea what to do now?

Hi,

Let me know the following.

1.  Did the code I posted bypass the power on password Ok?

2. Shutdown the notebook.

Tap away at the esc key as you start the notebook to enter the Start-up Menu.  Select the Diagnostic Menu option ( f2 ) and run the tests on the Hard Drive and Memory.

Post back with the results, including any error codes that may be generated.

Regards,
