Windows 11 Upgrade Guide
I am trying to convert my DVD drive into a 2nd SSD and i need to know which size caddy i will need to get in order to do this.
There are 2 size which is 12.7mm or 9.5mm.
Any help will be perfect.
From its specs:
Fixed, serial ATA, 9.5-mm tray loadDVD+/-RW Double-Layer SuperMultiSupports zero power optical driveSupports M-discSupports configuration without optical drive
That means 9.5mm
Thankyou heaps! i been trying to find this for ages now!
I have replaced my DVD drive with a caddy and have installed my old 1000gig HDD.
For some reason the system windows 10 does not pick this up as another drive.
I have looked in Disk management and also Device management also.
In the BIOS it only comes up as CD ROM as part of the boot options.
This would be a SATA Caddy as well.
Any help would be excellent,
