I downloaded my updates via the Support Assistant but when i see the history it shows that it is not yet completed installing. Many times I have postponed the restart by the Support Assistant. Here is how it shows me. Please Help Me out.

Thank you for the information Ashish! When you try to install from here, what are your results? Please elaborate on how it doesn't work for you. Is it not installing, or does it install fine, just not work?
Thanks!

Hi,
Try the following
First of all, uninstall your current version of HP Support Assistant by opening windows Control Panel, open Programs and Features, right click the entry for HP Support Assistant and select Uninstall. When this process has completed, restart the notebook.
Next download and install the latest version of HP Support Assistant from the page on the link below - the download links are towards the bottom of the page.

After the installation, restart the notebook again and check if it will now apply your updates successfully.
Regards,

I have installed it using sp58915.exe from here.
Attaching screenshot again.
When I click on "Check for HP updates" it completes the first step, i.e "Connecting to HP servers".
The rest of steps have a cross mark against them so it seems like it does not check for updates. I have had this issue since Oct 2012.
