Hi

I have a Hp 550, for a while now my laptop has been playing up, i have to enter the bios on startup to get windows to load. I've tried restoring it, but it didnt work so then tried re-installing vista to no avail, my laptop is only coming up for 2 years old, I've no idea what is up with it, so searching for help if anyone has any ideas why the laptop might be doing this, or how to fix it would be really appreciated, also my screen light has gone :Crying:

Thanks Carla

In BIOS screen Press F9 key once and highlight the option "YES" in Load BIOS defaults popup window. Once its highlighted , Pess Enter key so that Yes is selected.

Press Esc Key and then Highlight the option "YES" in exit saving changes popup and that would restart the computer.Let me Know if you face same problem after doing this on the computer after the restart is completed.
