I have a ProBook 6440b and upgraded from XP to W7Pro SP1. I have 2 problems - similar to the above:

PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_E852&SUBSYS_1722103C&REV_01

PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_E852&SUBSYS_1722103C

PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_E852&CC_088000

PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_E852&CC_0880

PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_E230&SUBSYS_1722103C&REV_01

PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_E230&SUBSYS_1722103C

PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_E230&CC_088000

PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_E230&CC_0880

and 2, the HP Lasejet Toolbox and Solution Center Applications are telling me that there is no HP device detected while the HP Color Laserjet 280 with scanner is set as the default printer, sharing is checked (but greyed out for some reason), prints but will not scan.

Can you assist? Thanks! {Personal Information Removed}

Hi:

This should be the driver you need for your 6440b:

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=32...

Can't help much with your second question. I suggest you post in the printers section of the forum, if my suggestion below is not applicable.

Did you download the full HP Windows 7 driver and software package for your printer from the HP support site for it?  W7 may have only loaded the printer driver. I don't see the HP Color LaserJet 280 listed in the support and driver page. Did you mistype the model number?

Hello,

I seem to be having similar issues as the rest of the folks here.  After upgrading to a new hard drive and installing Windows 7 Ultimate from Windows Vista Home Premium (can't remember the order in which the upgrades were done) I'm getting error messages for 3 base system devices when attempting to update or locate the drivers.  My computer is a DV7-1270us and the hardware ids for the devices are as follows:

First one location is PCI bus 6, device 0, function 1

Hardware ID

PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2382&SUBSYS_30F4103C&REV_00
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2382&SUBSYS_30F4103C
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2382&CC_088000
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2382&CC_0880

2nd location is PCI bus 6, device 0, function 3
Hardware ID

PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2383&SUBSYS_30F4103C&REV_00
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2383&SUBSYS_30F4103C
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2383&CC_088000
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2383&CC_0880

3rd location is PCI bus 6, device 0, function 4

Hardware ID

PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2384&SUBSYS_30F4103C&REV_00
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2384&SUBSYS_30F4103C
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2384&CC_088000
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2384&CC_0880

Any help would be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance for the assistance.

Hi,

If you want to use:

  • driver tested by HP then download and install this file.
  • latest driver from JMicron then use this file.

Hi:

The missing base system devices are your Ricoh Card reader.

Here are the drivers for that:

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-58981-1&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&...=

Co-processor:

You need the chipset driver:

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-55407-1&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&...=

I don't know why your CD-Rom isn't showing up. Maybe the chipset driver will fix that too.  If not, I can't help further with that problem.
