Then i logon to Windows, touchpad not running, led light is off, i just install lastest driver (Synaptics TouchPad Driver), then i restart system. Above message display again and touchpad still not run.

Here is screen shot from device manager and control panel

I too am having the exact same issue on a Probook 6460b right out of the box. Bios update is no help.

Uninstalled touchpad and re-installed. No Dice.

My Probook 4310s have the same problem.
"No mouse detected" message displays before system loads, touchpad not working in bios / OS....

Got the same problem. Mouse not detected shows up before os loads, which means it's hardware/bios related.

Got a probook 4510s

**bleep**ty hardware and failure to respond to forum messages is the reason why HP will discontinue manufacturing computers?

...so it was a systemboard issue. I had to send it back. I assume they replaced the board, idk for sure.

i've also have same problem in my 4510s 😞 what to do?

Based on the above it is a bad system board. I cannot think of any other explanation, sorry.
