In theory, the available bluetooth drivers in the operating system should support the profiles for headset and hands free operation, that will allow a headset to be used with speech recognition technology. There's a recent article I've come across, for the scala bluetooth headset, that indicates the author was able to use the bluetooth headset with speech recognition well enough to work with his skype contact list.

Please let me know what bluetooth device have you connected to the system. Also please let me know the product number or model number of your system and the way you are trying to search for bluetooth...

I just want to ensure that your system has bluetooth hardware and you have drivers installed. Please provide the model number or product number of your system. Also please check in Device Manager if you see something as mentioned in the below screenshot...

Your HP Pavilion Slimline s5-1020 desktop does not come with bluetooth hardware installed. To use bluetooth hardware on your system, you need to use a bluetooth dongle.
