Solved!

No Sound from speakers

HP Recommended

Hi

I'm using a hp pavillion g6 1d 60 us 32 bit operating system.  I recently updated several drivers using Driver Manager.  The

drivers are AMD HDMI Output-High Definition Audio Device, which is not plugged in, Speakers and Headphones-IDT High

Definition Audio Code, which is the default Device, and the Communication headphone-IDT High Definition Audio Codec

which states ready in the Sound Properties Box My headphone and speakers work when I'm listening to music using

Windows Media, but when I tried to listen to music utilizing my virtual dj software it displays a error message stating

error in the Sound Driver(DirectX/WDM) sound card is probably not connected or setting are incorrect.  Has anyone

experience this type of error message

Hi

I was able to back track and remedy the sound card error message.  It was the sound card configuration for the dj software

program and not the configuration settings for the notebook's sound
