Hi,can someone help me please, I wanted to ask is it possible to upgrade the cpu on this laptop it has a 1.73 ghz Intel pentium dual core processor T2370,If it is possible do you know what would be the best processor to upgrade to.Thanks in advance.

Hi:

 

There are only Intel processors in the manual on the link I posted.

 

An AMD processor will not work on an Intel motherboard, or visa versa.

 

Please have another look at the manual I posted. I have copied and pasted what is there...

Hi:

 

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

Supported processors are listed in chapter 1, page 1.

 

I read the BIOS release notes and it doesn not appear any BIOS updates are necessary to install any of the processors listed in the manual.

Hi paul thanks for reply, the laptop i have  has a intel pentium dual core processor 1.73 ghz t2370 on the pdf it only has amd processors, i am interested in one, its the Turion™ TL-64 2.20-GHz processor is my laptop compatible with this processor? Do i need to give a bit more detail.
