Windows 10 Upgrade

HP Recommended
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I was prompted to upgrade to Windows 10. So I download the update by the time it reaches 100% it says error code 80240031..." Windows update ran into a problem"

I tried several times and got the same error...Why??? What does it mean

If you have 3rd party AV software installed uninstall it before upgrading.

If you are having trouble updating normally, use this method: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/media-creation-tool-install
