Hi:
Please click on the devices in the device manager. Then click on the details tab. In the properties drop down list, select the second item (Hardware ID's). Post the top string of characters you see for each device.
Those will identify the model devices you have and I can try and find the drivers for them. Is it Windows 7 32 or 64 bit you have installed?

Hi:
They are there. Just click on your missing devices in the device manager. Then the box with tabs opens up. Select the Details tab. The there is a window labeled Properties. You can drop down on that list of items. You select the second item on the list (Hardware ID's).
You will see a string of letters and numbers that look like this:
PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_0843&SUBSYS_022E1028&REV_12
PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_0843&SUBSYS_022E1028
PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_0843&CC_088000
PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_0843&CC_0880
Just post the top string of those characters I marked in red. Those will tell me the model of the audio and vga drivers that need to be loaded.
There are many dv4000 models and unless you know the exact model, they come with different hardware.

Hi:
The ID's you posted (PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2592) decode to an Intel GMA 900 video adapter which does not fully function in Windows 7.
I can give you the link to a driver that should allow the video to function so that you can change the screen resolution and have graphics acceleration, but you will not have AERO.
Here is what you need to do...
Download and run this video driver. You probably will get an "Unsupported Operating System" error.
Close out of any error windows.
Now, go to the device manager and click on the standard VGA controller.
Click on the driver tab. Click on Update Driver.
Select the "Browse My Computer for Software" method, and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the download.
That folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp34749.
Make sure the Include Subfolders box is checked, and the driver should install.
Upon reboot, your video should be working better, but no Aero.
