How do you change the function of the LOCK key in the keyboard, so instead of locking windows it shutdowns/sleeps/hibernates the laptop?

 

How do you change the program that opens when clicking on any of the left side shortcut keys?

Action keys can be customized manually in the registry

 

or you can try this software

 

not sure what you can do for the lock key. You might search for  key remapper software
