Hi:
According to the hardware ID you posted you have the Intel Wireless Link WiFi 1000 WLAN adapter.
The best thing to do is to go to the intel site and get the latest driver for it.
Your product specs show your notebook came with W7 64 bit, so use the second file listed.
Best regards,
Paul

Hi, Stao:
First install the chipset driver and reboot.
I don't know about the SM Bus controller. That is an AMD device, but the specs for our PC show it has an Intel chipset. Did you install the AMD video driver? Your notebook may have switchable graphics.

I am doing the downloading from another laptop. Will let you know shortly if it works.
Since I got you here, do you know why it happens after I upgrade it to Ultimate? Also, I notice all my HP pre-installed programs are gone, such as Recovery Manager, WebCam, HP Update, Wireless Assistant. Do you know how can I get them back? Or can you direct me to another link? Thank you very much! I am in a panic mode right now. ..

Hi:
If the chipset driver doesn't work, then don't worry about it.
I am surprised however since the cq57-383sq product specs, show your notebook to have an Intel processor, therefore, it should have an Intel chipset.
