probook 4540s laptop shut down every 30 minutes

HP Recommended

my HP laptop probook 4540s with windows 7 is shutting down every 30 minutes.

Can someone give me any suggestions to fix this problem.

i've changed the power settings to never dim - sleep or shut down.

My laptop is plugged in without the battery.
Please I need help - I'm sure that it's really bad for my computer to shut down unexpectedly

The same problem. The local service man said the cause is the chipset. Can't use it any more :mansad:

I just got my computer back from being repaired and they told me it was the mother board they had to replace.  So if you ever have this problem you will know how to take care of this.
