Hi @Christine_615,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you are having trouble refilling the Smart Tank 615 ink tank using an ink bottle, there are a few things you can try.

  • Check that you are using the correct type of ink bottle that is compatible with the Smart Tank 615. Using the wrong type of ink bottle can cause the ink to not be accepted by the tank.
  • Make sure the ink bottle is not empty or almost empty. If there is not enough ink in the bottle, the Smart Tank 615 may not accept it.
  • Check that you are inserting the ink bottle correctly into the M tank. Make sure the nozzle of the ink bottle is properly inserted into the fill hole of the M tank.
  • Check if there is any blockage in the fill hole of the M tank. If there is any ink or debris clogging the hole, use a clean, dry cloth to wipe it away.
  • If you have tried all of the above steps and are still unable to refill the M tank, it may be a problem with the ink tank itself.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
