I am unable to configure my printer (HP LaserJet M1136 MFP) with a newly bought HP Chromebook. During configuration the system is recognising the printer, but this model is not visible among the hundreds of HP printer options, thus unable to configure it.

How to solve this?

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

I understand that you are unable to configure the HP laserjet printer on the Chromebook, try this method to add the printer.

  • Click the clock in the bottom right corner, and then click the Settings icon.
  • Scroll to the bottom of the screen, and then click Advanced.
  • Under Printing, click Printers > Add Printer. If your printer displays, select it and then click Add.

And, also refer to the YouTube link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mf6LUKTMw9c&ab_channel=HPSupport Setting Up a Printer on an HP Chromebook.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
