I have an envy 5000 and I'm getting the "error code EBS00P0004" screen whenever i try to connect the priter to my phone

Welcome to HP Support Community. 

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

 

I see that you are getting error code EBS00P0004 on your HP Envy 5000 All-in-One Printer.

 

Please follow the steps listed below for product reset:

1. Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.

2. Leave printer on and completely idle for at least 1 hour.

3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.

4. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

5. Wait at least 60 seconds.

6. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.

NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.

7. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.

8. Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on. Now check the control panel display.

 

You may also upgrade the firmware by following this document.
