Hi @GirishKumarShar,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be glad to help you!

I understand how frustrating it must be to have your printer stop working after a macOS update, especially when you need it for important tasks. Let’s work together to get your HP Ink Tank 315 printer up and running again.

  • Have you tried connecting the printer to a different USB port or using a different cable to rule out hardware issues?
  • Does your Mac recognize the printer under System Settings > Printers & Scanners, or does it show an error message?
  • Have you checked if HP Easy Start or HP Smart detects the printer after the macOS upgrade?

Follow the steps below.

Reinstall the Printer Drivers:

  • Visit the HP support website and download the latest printer drivers for macOS Sequoia 15.2.
  • Uninstall the existing printer from System Settings > Printers & Scanners, then reinstall it after installing the new driver.

Reset the Printing System:

  • Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners, right-click anywhere in the printer list, and select "Reset printing system."
  • This will remove all printers, so you can re-add your HP Ink Tank 315 fresh.

Check for macOS Updates:

  • Sometimes Apple releases compatibility updates after major OS upgrades. Go to System Settings > General > Software Update and install any pending updates.

Manually Add the Printer:

  • Plug in your printer via USB, go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners, click the "+" button, and select your printer from the available list.
  • If it doesn’t appear, try selecting it under "Add Printer via IP" using its IP address if available.

Use HP Easy Start Tool:

  • Download HP Easy Start from the HP website, which can help automatically detect, install drivers, and set up your printer on the new macOS version. Or Click here to download.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
