HP Scan and Capture
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This is a message for the developers of the "HP Scan and Capture" software.

My 70+ year old cousin does a lot of scanning. The HP Scan and Capture software is exactly what she needs -- it's simple to operate and produces a simple graphical result and allows saving to PDF.

It has one (in my opinion) major fault: She uses the OfficeJet Pro 8610 all-in-one device, which does not allow double-sided scanning from the ADF. She could compensate by scanning all the odd-numbered pages first and then scan all the even-numbered pages, and then rearrange them, but HP Scan and Capture DOESN'T allow this. Quite a shame, really,

@tru64unix, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I understand the HP Scan and Capture has this limitation. It is as per the design. However, I will forward your feedback to the respective team in HP.

Meanwhile, you may use the HP smart app and check if that helps to meet your scanning requirements.

Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.
