Hello. I recently changed my Wi-Fi password and security protocol (was WPA, now WPA2) and I am now trying to reinstall the driver. However, after selecting the printer in HP Easy Start, I get a HTTP Status 404 error, image below.

Thanks for your attention.

Is your Mac already connected to your Network?

Let's Reset the Network settings on the Printer

- Press the Wireless button (and the Cancel button from the printer control panel at the same time, and then hold them for three seconds and restart the Printer

Next connect the Printer through the USB and we will reconfigure the printer settings

On your Mac, use HP Setup Assistant in Applications/HP/Device Utilities to change the software connection to wireless for this printer and follow the onscreen instructions

Once the printer is connected to your Network with your new Password, Re-Add the Printer to the Mac printing queue using Aiprint

  1. Click the Apple menu, click System Preferences, and then click Print & Scan or Printers & Scanners.

  2. Check if your printer name displays in the Printers list, and then do one of the following steps.

    • If your printer is listed, remove and re-add the printer to confirm it is set up for AirPrint. Click the printer name, click the minus sign to delete the printer, click the plus sign , click Add Printer or Scanner, click the printer name and then continue to the next step.

    • If your printer is not listed, click the plus sign, click Add Printer or Scanner, click the name of your printer, and then continue to the next step.

  3. Confirm AirPrint or Secure AirPrint displays in the Use or Print Using menu, and then click Add.

    Select AirPrint from the Use menu
  4. Open a document or photo, click File, and then click Print.

Keep me posted how it goes

Thank you and have a great weekend 😊

 @KrazyToad

Thank you for your help. For some reason there was something wrong with the Mac I was trying to use to connect the printer to the network, so I used another one and it worked 🙂
