Hi, I cannot remember since I had to use the cable to print and why. The fact is that I was determined to repair the wireless connection on the printer now as I wanted to join the ink cartriges monthly plan and I cannot do it as I am unable to connect wireless.
Anyway apart from that, the printer is not even a year old and I bought it wireless as I like the fredom to be able to use as when and where I need it.
I do remember that I went into settings and restore, thinking that would clear any proble and that I could re-enter all the information as if it was new. But no luck.
Please help me. I really like to use my printer wireless.
Regards
Val

Hi! @vale1255, Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums!
I understand you have issues connecting your printer to the wireless network.
Don't worry I'd like to help you out.
Did you make any changes to your printer?
Please provide the model name of your printer to assist you better.
Try few steps recommended below.
Restart the computer, printer, and router to resolve any error states present during the printer setup.
NOTE:
The following steps temporarily disconnect network and Internet connections and require restarting your computer. Complete any tasks or downloads in progress before continuing.
Disconnect the power cord from the router.
Turn off the printer.
Close all running programs on your computer, including the HP software installation window, then shut down the computer.
Reconnect the power cord to the router, then wait for the Internet activity light to display a normal connected status.
Turn on the printer.
Turn on the computer.
Try installing the HP driver and software again.
