I tried to install the printer to my corporate laptop. When I tried to use the USB connection to set it up, it failed to do so. The error message is " Printer installation failed. A new printer was not installed". The USB is identified as a CD Driver on my laptop. 

 

Then when I tried to do that with my corporate laptop, it showed me the error message "The printer was unable to communicate with any wireless router or access using the provided SSID." 

 

I was able to connect this printer to my personal laptop via USB and wireless. 

 

What should I do?

I'd be happy to help you! 

 

  • If the laptop is managed by your corporate IT department, you might need their assistance to ensure all necessary permissions and settings are configured.

Security Software:

  • Check if any security software or firewall settings on your corporate laptop are blocking the installation. Temporarily disable them if needed.

Admin Privileges:

  • Ensure you have the necessary administrative privileges to install new hardware and software on your corporate laptop.
