Unable to print.  I keep running Print and Scan doctor.  Doesn't find the printer until I enter the IP.  Then takes me to the HP Connected registration.  I log into my account on HP Connected without a problem.  When I get in, there's no option I need to take that I can see.  If I close the install Window, it tells me that my install is incomplete and won't print.  But there's nothing I can see that I need to do on this page.  So I close it out and run HP Print and Scan doctor again and get back to this same point.  What do I do?

Hi,

From the Control Panel select Uninstall a Program, then uninstall the HP Officejet Pro 6970 Basic Device Software.

Ensure your computer is only connected to your home network and not to any VPN, then reinstall the HP Software and check for any difference.

Uninstalled the basic driver.  This time the screen disappeared after login.  When I go to see what printers are installed, there is no driver.  There is an HP ePrint option.  When I try to print, it finds the printer, but then when I click on it, says the Printer Validation Failed.
