Microsoft Windows 11

I changed my home wifi router and now I can't get to my HP officejet 8010e printer.  HP Smart says it's off line but doesn't provide any solutions to put it back on line.  I think I need to do a hard reset and clear all the settings, but I can't seem to do that.

Welcome to the HP Support Community. 

 

I understand that you are facing connectivity issues. I’d like to help!

 

Make sure, your printer and your device are on the same network as 2.4GHZ only. 

 

Refer to this document and see if that helps. 

 

Update firmware

 

If this does not help, let's perform a semi-full reset to restore the printer back to its original settings.

 

The reset instructions are specific to your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device. 

 

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instructions to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer. 

 

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
