Hi @BradsterC,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your printer may need to be reconnected to your new internet service. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you reconnect your HP Envy Photo 7800 series printer to your new internet service.

  • Check Printer Connection: Make sure your printer is turned on and ready. Ensure that it's connected to your Wi-Fi network. Most HP printers have a wireless icon on the display screen that indicates if it's connected to Wi-Fi. If not, you may need to go through the printer's menu to reconnect it to your new Wi-Fi network. Refer to your printer's manual for specific instructions on how to do this.
  • Restart Printer and Computer: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues. Turn off your printer and computer, then turn them back on after a minute or so.
  • Verify Wi-Fi Settings: Ensure that your new Wi-Fi network is functioning properly. Double-check the network name (SSID) and password to make sure they are correct.
  • Printer Setup on Computer: On your computer, open the Control Panel or Settings and navigate to Devices and Printers. Look for your printer in the list of available devices. If you don't see it, click on "Add a printer or scanner" and follow the on-screen instructions to detect and install your printer.
  • Printer Software Installation: If you haven't installed the printer software on your computer yet, you may need to do so. Visit the HP support website, enter your printer model, and download the latest drivers and software for your printer. Install the software and follow the setup wizard to connect your printer to your computer.
  • HP Smart App (Optional): You can also try using the HP Smart app on your computer or smartphone to set up and manage your printer. This app can help you troubleshoot connectivity issues and manage print jobs remotely.

By following these steps, you should be able to reconnect your HP Envy Photo 7800 series printer to your new internet service and regain access to printing from your computer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
