Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

For some time now, my printer has been very slow, printing for half a second and pausing a second (more or less).  I finally put Wireshark on the network and verified that the packets to the printer have the same timing, so it's apparently not some sort of queueing problem in the printer.  However, I also noticed that there is a huge amount of SNMP traffic between my laptop and the printer.  I presume that this could be related to the delays I'm seeing.  Problem is, I can't find what's causing the SNMP packets. I've killed every HP-labeled process on the laptop but the SNMP traffic is undiminished.  Any thoughts on what to look for?  I saw one article that said that printer sharing can cause this, but this printer is not shared -- it stands alone on my LAN.

Welcome to HP Community

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

I suggest you uninstall the printer driver from root level and download the full feature software

1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’
6.) Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8.) Click on the “Drivers” tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
13.) Restart the computer and download the full feature software Link: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL32500/mp-109548-2/OJ_AIO_4500_G510a-f_NonNet_Full_Win_W... and follow the onscreen instructions
