Not sure if its the exact same model because I'm at home right now but I've had odd wireless network issues with three HP wireless printers, I think two were Photosmart. Currently the two solutions I've found effective are:

1: BT HomeHub Mk1 units seem to make effective hosts. Available at all good carboot sales.

2: For some reason a router reconfigured as an access point seems to work, even if it won't connect when used as a modem-router. If you have an old or spare router then try turning it into an access point, turn off DHCP and WAN and Modem functions, give it an IP somewhere on the main router's subnet and connect the LAN ports of the routers together.

Did anyone ever get a satisfactory answer to this issue ?

I have a similar issue with a B110a that won't stay connected to vodafone(NZ) wireless N router for longer than about 5 minutes. Likewise I've tried static ip, wep, etc etc

Does the printer become disconnected or does it freeze or does your computer just fail to see it?

Say thanks by clicking "Kudos" "thumbs up" in the post that helped you.
