I just purchased a Photosmart D110 with my new Macbook pro a little while ago. Everything seemed to be going fine, the installation went well and it is installed on my computer. It has a signal and is sending everything to my computer such as ink levels etc so there must be come connection. But when I try to print something it says that the printer is offline. I can't figure it out. Hopefully someone knows what's going on.

OK, first do a Software Update from the Apple menu.  You should be at 10.6.8.

Now, let's set a static IP address for the printer:

- Print a Network Config Page from the front of the printer. Note the printer's IP address.
- Type that IP address into a browser to reveal the printer's internal settings.
- Choose the Networking tab, then Wireless along the left side, then the IPv4 tab.
- On this screen you want to set a Manual IP. You need to set an IP address outside the range that the router automatically sets (called the DHCP range). Yours is 192.168.0.100 to .199.  Let's use 192.168.0.220 for your printer.
- Use 255.255.255.0 for the subnet (unless you know it is different, if so, use that)
- Enter your router's IP (on the Network Config Page) for the gateway and first DNS. Leave the second one blank.
- Click 'Apply'.

Now, shut down the router and printer, start the router, wait, then start the printer.

After this you may need to redo 'Add a Printer' using the new IP address.

I am currently running Mac OS X Version 10.6.7 and I have a D-Link DIR-615 router. It is currently connected by my network.

I have had the same problems. I printed out the HP Network Config Page and tried typing in the printer's ip address (172.16.31.178) into safari's browser bar and it simply tells me it is unable to find the address. What now?!

That IP address looks like a Guest network.  Do you or a neighbor have a guest network as part of your wireless network?  If so, the printer is connected to the Guest network and devices on your personal network cannot find it.

First, download and run this utility: http://h20180.www2.hp.com/apps/Nav?h_pagetype=s-926&h_lang=en&h_client=s-h-e17-1&h_keyword=dg-NDU&ju...

What does it say?

Is your printer already connected to your wireless network?

I have already run that utility - during checking didnt find any printer in network even when printer is connected to network. In advanced setting - my network is detected. Network device HP is detected with correct  IP address and Microsoft windows firewall allowed.

Print a Wireless Network Test from the front of the printer.  Is it connected to your network?
