Need help.. I tried resetting the IP manually per your instructions here, but that didn't work, and now when I type the new IP in a browser, I get a 404. I tried using the printer utility to reset my printer with the IP, and it can't find the printer. Yet a wireless report says the config is all ready to go.

Accroding to the specs that software is PC only--I'm on a Mac. It's OK, though. I reset my printer settings to the defaults, and that seemed to work--at least I was able to print yesterday, though not today. It's a pain (and kinda defeats the point of having a wireless printer), but if I restart the printer when it acts up, it sometimes works. So I guess I'll just deal with it that way.
thanks anyway

Oh, you did not mention being on a Mac. What version of OS X?
Let's reset the printing system:
- Go to System Preferences > Print & Fax
- Right (or control) click in the rectangle listing your printers and select Reset Printing System.
WARNING - this will delete ALL of your printers!
- Select the plus sign to re-add a printer. Look for the printer, select it and wait until the "Add" button becomes available. Click it.
