Bob

I work at a large company and we're currently doing security audits and found hard drives in some printers but not all. You said there was no simple list to check with... so listed below are the printers we have. Please get back with me in the form or via email.

Thanks

~Amos~

Neither of these have a hard drive.

The only Photosmart models that have a hard drive are a few of the small models designed for 4x6 and 5x7 photo printing, an example is the Photosmart 485.

Thank you so much.  I didn't see the "solved" button, but you have taken care of my question.  Thanks again, Bob,  for your help.

I want to know:

HP laser jet 2100

HP laser jet 4100N

HP laser jet 2430 dtn

HP 5590

are they have the hard drive?

Is there any RAM inside that I need to remove the internal battery that remove the memory on the RAM?

Just want to make sure there are no data anywhere before I donate them.

Thanks very much. I spent a very long time looking for this information on the main website, where it really should be listed, as well as trying the support line, where I was told my printer was out of warranty & I could get the answer for $39. I was trying to dispose of my old printer to replace it with a new HP printer I had just bought! So happy to find the answer at last, though annoyed that it took most of the afternoon to find it.

No,your PSC 2410 does not have a hard drive.  None of the PSC series and none of the Photosmart printers that use two or more cartridges have a hard drive.  (There are some small single cartridge Photosmart printers such as the Photosmart 475 that do have an internal hard drive.)
