Hi 3absiso,
I didn't say that there was no difference. What i was saying is the speed between draft & normal is not as noticable as if you were printing in Best mode. Set the driver to Best, and let me know if there is a difference in the speed in which it prints? This will help determine if the print quality settings are working correctly.

Hello Sir
I went to the advance mode and printed the in the draft mode and best mode for plain paper. Draft gave me 30 seconds. Best mode gave me 32 sec and the quality is the same.
in the image it says this will not affect the printing quality?
so what th hell is going on here

Hi 3absiso,
Thank you for being patient. At the time this driver was made, this was by design. Try doing an add a printer from the printers folder, and install the Deskjet 990c driver. This should give you more flexibility / options with the print quality settings. Have a wonderful day.

Hi 3absiso,
Follow the instructions below.
1. Open devices and printer
2. Click Add a printer
3. Click Add a local printer
4. From the Use existing port select the USB option, and then click next
5. Click on the Windows Update button to get all support window 7 drivers updated
6. Once update is finished. Click on HP from left menu, and then select the Deskjet 990c from the right menu, and then click next.
7. Follow the remaining instructions to complete the installation.
Once you have the 990c printer added make sure it is the default printer, and then try printing to your Deskjet 1050 printer using this driver.
