Regarding the diagnostics summary, as I mentioned everythings passes up until 'Filtering,' at which it then fails. What exactly does this failing filtering mean/refer to?

Also, when trouble shooting the software has me download the "Troubleshooting for your printer connection" application/document. In this document there are two lines that I was hoping for help with.

First,...

"If your router is a dual-band 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz 802.11n router, make sure your printer is connected to the 2.4 GHz band.

How would I be able to tell which band the printer is attempting to connect? And how would I adjust it if needed?

Second,...

Make sure that wireless isolation mode (sometimes called WLAN Partitioning) is disabled. (Not all routers have this feature.)"

Can anyone tell me if the Actiontec routers have this feature? I haven't been able to determine if so, and how to disable if necessary.

I don't think either of those configurations will be on your router.  If you can get into the router settings that would be helpful, though.  Contact Verizon for instructions and passwords.

In the mean time, you could try removing the phone cord from the back of the modem, reboot it without the phone cord installed and see if the printer will pick up an IP that way.  After it connects, reconnect the phone cord and restart the router again.

Ok, we are just talking in circles here.  Getting into my router and changing seetings is not an issue, and you are suggesting and repeating very elementary steps.

Thanks for trying to help there Printdoc.

Does anyone else here have more advanced help/suggestions?

OK, sorry, I did not see where you could get into your router settings.  Also, I had you restart the router earlier, but not with the FIOS line unplugged.  I am just trying to make some headway, here.

Your printer should support WPA2, but just in case it cannot, try chaning the router encryption to WPA.
