HP Laserjet P1005
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I plug in my HP Laserjet P1005 to my new laptop, the plug and play does not detect the printer.

I used HP Support Assistant and it sais no device found.

The printer works on my old laptop, also running Windows 10.

Thank you for your reply

I found the problem using the HP print and scan docter, which detected my printer had the wrong driver package.

Downloaded the following:  ljP1000_P1500-HB-pnp-win64-en.exe

Problem solved

Thank You
