have recently set up my HP 4500 Officejet for use with I Mac with latest operating system.  Unable to double side print from WORD documenets.

Also, have difficulty scanning legal size documnet from tray feeder.

Also, not able to scan multiple documents from tray feeder so that each document is a single document and not just one of several from files in tray feeder.

Hi,
You may perform manual duplexing by any of the methods below:

In order to perform manual duplexing, you shouls use the Pages to Print setting, as you may find listed below:
http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01663233

As well, another alternative is to use the HP Two-Sided Printing Software:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL35975/mp-88750-2/HP_Two-sided_Printing.dmg
you can access this tool by clicking the PDF button at the bottom of the print dialog, then select Two-Sided Printing and follow the on-screen instructions.

Shlomi

Hi,

Is this the one ?

   http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/us/en/sm/WF06a/18972-18972-238444-12019-3328086-3645081.html?dnr=1

It clearly indicates: NOT support duplex printing

I find that strange because when the Officejet 4500 was connected to my PC, I had no problems printing documents on both sides. I was able to adjust printer properties to allow printing on both sides. It is only since connecting to Mac has this feature not been available.

Hi,

Well, that why I asked "is it the same model ?". If YES, same model, then all I can say HP does not do the home work well.
