Re: Printing yellow background on all documents

This is a new printer.  Copying seems OK, but printing out documents in colour produces a bright yellow background on every sheet.  I am using Windows 10, 64-bit. This happens when printing from the Internet but also when printing from a word-processing program using colour print.  The only way to stop it is to set the printer to grayscale, but it remains a problem when you need to print out in colour.   Using Open Office Writer, I tried de-selecting  "page background" in the print dialogue box but this had no effect.  This printer was purchased fairly recently so it is not in need of cleaning and it has never printed out correctly, without this yellow background.  I am obviously using up large amounts of yellow toner because of it.

Could you advise how to address this issue?

You probably have a bad yellow toner cartridge. I would contact hp customer care in your area to find out how to get a replacement toner cartridge since it has a warranty.
