HP LaserJet M402dw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am trying to Enable Web Services from the browser configuration menu, without any luck on my HP LaserJet M402dw.

Wanted to upgrade my Envy 4520, but it's not what I've expected, so far.

  • My internet connection is fine
  • The printer runs on the latest firmware 20161011
  • Air Print works, so does wired printing

Tried the following:

  • Disabled my firewall
  • Changed the preffered and alternate DNS adresses to 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4 and 209.244.0.3, 209.244.0.4 (as i read in a different thread)
  • Restarted the printer (lost count)
  • Updated the firmware
  • Reinstalled the drivers
  • Different browsers
  • HP Support Assistant

But everything I try ends with this:

"Connection error. Check Internet connection."

PrtScr

This is becomming pretty frustrating, wondering if I should just return the printer and get another one...
