I have deskjet F4488. When I try to scan b/w document in this AIO, the background of scaned pdf which is generated by the printer becomes dark pink in colour insted of white. Due to this problem, it is very difficult to read black words in pink backgroud. I have also noticed that when I scane the document, the scanner light beam beneath the glass apears pink instead of white. When i phocopy any b/w document, the background of photocopy becomes pink . please help me to solve this problem.

Hi,

Since you've seen that the scanner light is pinky color- there is no other way to solved your issue other than to replace your printer- if your printer is still in warranty pls call Hp tech support.. But if it is already Out of warranty , you need to buy a new one....

Buy a new printer?
Is there no other solution?

I have hardly used it and now to replace it is a costly affair!

Can't pink color be gotten rid off??
