We recently purchased an HP Photosmart 7510 e-All-in-One printer and now my Hallmark Card program doesn't recognize custom sizing. My OS is Window 7 64-bit. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks.

Since I still did not receive a reply to my posts dated Dec 7, 2011 and Jan 2, 2012 I again phoned the technical support line. Although I was on the phone today for over 2 1/2 hours (2 phone calls), I finally received the help needed when I spoke with the 2nd support person - Chelsea. She was WONDERFUL, PLEASANT, A GREAT LISTENER and was willing to find a SOLUTION to my problem of not being able to print custom sizes on my HP Photosmart 7510 all-in-one eprinter. Since the 7510 does NOT support custom print sizes, she downloaded the HP9500 which does support custom print sizes. Now all I have to do when I print from my Hallmark Card Studio program is to choose this printer and my A2 size card prints perfectly. Thanks Chelsea - you are awesome!! I still think that with all the technology available that HP should update the driver for the 7510 (which does print great regular paper and does awesome with printing photos) and include custom sizes as an option as their previous printers do.

I have have been waiting for almost a month to get an answer or solution to my problem...please help!! I have spent many hours going through the message board to find similar questions, but have not seen a reply or a way to solve this problem. I have a huge project that I am working on with my Hallmark 2012 program and need to print 5.5 x 8.5 cards (A2) size. I notice that my printer supports A2 size envelopes so I find it VERY FRUSTRATING that is does not support the cards that go with the envelopes.

I phoned in to customer support and spoke with a tech. She ended up downloading the HP9800 on my computer which allows custom sizes - am very happy with it as my card program works perfectly now! 🙂 If you end up phoning in be prepared to be on the phone a long time - I spend most of a morning on the phone with 2 different techs - the 2nd tech was awesome and came up with a solution that actually worked!!

I just wanted to say THANKS to ws0927 for posting the solution. Using the driver for HP DeskJet 9800 allowed me to print on custom size paper on my HP Photosmart 7510 - you saved the day!
If you have Windows 7, adding the driver for HP DeskJet 9800 is simple:
1. Go to Control Panel >> Devices and Printers and Add a Printer.
2. Select "Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer."
3. Wait for Windows to find your printer on the network and select it, then click Next.
4. It should say "Install a printer driver" and present a list of manufacturers on the left and models on the right. Select HP and select "HP DeskJet 9800". Then click "Next". Make sure to uncheck the box when it asks you if you want to make it the default printer.
Now you can print custom sizes by going into your application (e.g., Microsoft Word) and selecting "Print", and then choosing HP DeskJet 9800 as your printer. Once you've selected this printer, click "Properties" and in the "Paper/Quality" tab, there's a dropdown of various paper sizes as well as a button that says "Custom". Success! 🙂

Thank you for the step by step instructions. I bought this printer last week. I was disappointed today when I opened it and attempted to print a custom invitation that custom sizing wasn't an option. I was going to return it, and then I ran across this thread, and was able to solve my problem in under 5 minutes.

Thank you so much for this solution it has made my crafting life so much easier!! Worked brilliantly - driver for HP 9800 downloaded in a few minutes and now able to custom size my paper for crafting square cards without having to first print them on to A4 and the trim them down to square. Brilliant

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!! Stumbling upon this thread just saved my laptop and my printer from learning to fly! I have been trying to print wedding invitations and could NOT figure out how to make them print properly on the 5.5x8.5 invitation cards. You have saved my electronics and my sanity!! Bridezilla averted, PHEW! Thank you so much!! Btw, the instructions you gave for Windows 7 also work for my horrible Vista I'm still stuck with. 🙂
