HP ENVY 7645 e-All-in-One Printer

I have an HP ENVY 7645 that has been working fine all week, today in the middle of a print job it stopped printing and I began getting a Filter Failed error on chromebook. Both the printer and chromebook are up to date. I have checked the paper type and shutdown/restarted both. I have also tried converting the documents to pdfs etc. PLEASE HELP ASAP

Welcome to the HP Support Community. 

 

I understand you are not able to print from a Chromebook. Have you tried printing different types of documents and checking if that prints?

Filter failed errors are found on Macs, not on Chromebooks. Kindly recheck the error. 

 

Update the printer firmware

Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your Mac.

Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.
