HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 Wide Format All-in-One Printer

Tried repairing and resetting the HP Smart App; uninstalling/restarting/reinstalling HP Smart;  completely uninstalling everything related to that printer/ restarting/ reinstalling and still when I try to open HP Smart, all I get is the initial blue screen for about 30 seconds then the whole thing just disappears.  Also tried installing just the driver package for the printer instead and it is having troubles installing the printer on a wifi connection.

I see that you are facing cartridge issues with HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 Wide Format All-In-One Printer.

 

Request you to update printer firmware. Kindly refer to the steps on this link and let me know if that fixes the issue.

NO I am NOT having cartridge issues.  Read the post again.  The Issue is that HP Smart will NOT open.   Also the very name of this post..........also have updated the firmware on the printer as well.
