Hi.

I have purchased A3 HP Glossy printer paper for my HP Office Jet Pro 7740 A3 printer.  However, when i come to print a high quality A3 photograph, the options for HP Photo Paper are "locked out". The only option it gives me is "Plain Paper".

Does this mean my photographs will not be printed with optimum quality for the A3 Glossy Paper?

Why cant I select A3 HP Photo Paper in the print screen?

See screen grabs below.

Hi,

Tray 2 only supports a Plain Paper.

Load your Photo Paper on Tray 1, ensure the correct photo size and type are configured for the printer itself (by reviewing the shown prompt once closing the tray), then change the driver to Tray 1 and change the settings as you need.

Hi Shlomi. Thanks for your reply. That has helped me. I didn't realise you could also put A3 paper in tray 1. Excellent reply. Thanks again.

You're much welcome @HerculesPal,

Great to see you are now able to print on the glossy paper as required.

Cheers,

Shlomi
