I just purchased an HP Deskjet 3052A. I'm running Windows 7 and have a Linksys WRT54G router. I'm having issues connecting to the wireless network. The Wireless Network Test Results page indicates that "The WPA security passphrase configured on your HP printer does not match your wireless router setting." As far as I can tell, the passphrases are the same. I realize that the passphrase is case sensitive and have taken that into consideration. Running out of patience with this now.

Before you run the HP software again, go to the front of the printer, click the wireless button and navigate on the menu to "Restore Network Defauts".
Now, run the HP software again.
Say thanks by clicking "Kudos" "thumbs up" in the post that helped you.

I am trying to connect the 3052A to a WNR1000v2-VC and am unsuccessful. I have tried using WPS via Push-button and PIN. I have also tried using the USB-connected setup mode and ad-hoc setup mode. I have also reset the wireless settings, reset the printer and my router. I am taking back the printer today as I have already spent an hour on this.

I finally fixed it. It would not connect using WPS or even over the USB cable for some reason. To fix it i had to connect to the ad-hoc wireless network the printer creates during setup over USB and using the IP address of the printer on the network diagnostic page (while the ad-hoc network was activated) i went into the web panel and selected Wireless-G compatibility mode and after that it worked fine. I assume it was having troubles with the Wireless-N network.

I have photosmart c410a & LinkSys WRT160n router. I put in correct pass phrase but it doesn't connect. I receive error message. Also, the wireless light blinks. It doesn't remain steady. I've been trying to connect printer for days!!!! I have in home wireless network & printer sharing enabled but printer won't remain online. Is this all connected to passphrase problem? Help please! Thanks
Sorry but I don't know how to use 3-24-2012 posted fix.
