I am having problems setting up a wireless connection with a hp psc 2500 a family member gave me. I do not have the install cd but I have it completely set up except the wireless.
I've tried to set it up using the ip. The network settings wireless page only gives me options to enter a WEP key when I need to enter a WPA password I have set up on my router. There is no Place to enter my WPA and it won't work for WEP saying it is too short. I've tried to leave the settings at no encryption but the printer won't work wirelessly. Please help!
Here is a link to the the tutorial I was following. Step 7 is where I feel the problem is.

The psc 2500 is very old and only works with WEP and 802.11b, both of which are obsolete.
I recommend you plug the printer into the router with an Ethernet cable instead of fighting with wireless.

I am having the same problem as others on this forum. I've tried resetting to default wireless settings with no avail. I have a PhotosmartD110 printer and a Western Digital My Net N600 Router. I know the passphrase I am using is correct because its working on my computer and my phones. But no luck with the printer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
