I have been trying to fix an error 30 on my envy 7640 for 2 days. I have tried every thing I find with no results. Please help

  • Have you tried making a standalone copy on the printer and check if you still get the same error?

Power resetting the printer, Updating the printer firmware and cleaning the paper feed rollers may resolve this issue. Let us try these steps:

 

Step 1: Reset the printer

  1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  2. Wait at least 60 seconds.
  3. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
  4. Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
  5. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
