my HP printer keeps canceling jobs, without explaining why. I HATE THIS THING!!!

does anyone have any idea of why this *&^% printer just "cancels" jobs, without explaining WHY???  It will certainly print out any reports from the printer itself, but not anything I am asking it to print....
