Hi @susanne22,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your printer may be stuck in a loop. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue.

  • Cancel the print job: On your computer, go to the print queue and cancel the print job that's causing the endless printing.
  • Restart the printer: Turn off your HP Deskjet 3760 printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on. This can sometimes clear up any temporary glitches.
  • Check for paper jams: Open the printer's access door and check for any paper jams or obstructions. Clear any jams you find.
  • Reset the printer: Look for a reset button on your printer or refer to the printer's manual for instructions on how to perform a reset.
  • Update printer drivers: Make sure you have the latest drivers installed for your printer. You can usually download them from the HP website.
  • Factory reset: As a last resort, you can try performing a factory reset on your printer. This will restore it to its default settings. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to do this.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
